Tanggal 29 April 2011 bertempat di gedung pusdiklat maarif, Acara Super Camp secara resmi dimulai. Peserta yang datang sejumlah 54 orang dari budang IPA dan IPS. Kegiatan yang diawali dengan IO (Informasi dan Orientasi). Acara tersebut dilakukan dalam rangka memberikan motivasi kepada peserta sekaligus memberikan gambaran mengenai beberapa kampus yang menjadi pilihan peserta nantinya. Hadir pada acara tersebut pakar dosen dari Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember Surabaya, Ir. Muhammad Faqih, MSA., Ph.D Selain beliau, hadir juga pakar dosen dari Universitas Negeri Surabaya Prof. Dr. Ali Haedar, M.A. Peserta mengikuti acara dengan penuh antusias. Terlihat dari banyaknya pertanyaan yang disampaikan peserta selama forum berlangsung.

Hari berikutnya, Minggu 1 Mei 2011 kegiatan supercamp diisi dengan acara Motivation Training. Kegiatan tersebut merupakan kegiatan non akademik yang ditujukan memotivasi peserta dalam proses belajar selama 1 bulan sekaligus sebagai ajang kegiatan untuk saling mengakrabkan diri dan membekali softskill kepada peserta supercamp. Konsep yang digunakan adalah konsep outdoor dan indoor. Kegiatan outdoor adalah kegiatan berupa outbond dengan berbagai game. Sedangkan kegiatan indoor merupakan kegiatan berupa pelatihan di dalam ruangan dengan materi-materi pengenalan diri, pengembangan diri, dan motivasi diri. Acara itu sendiri menghadirkan trainer dari mahasiswa dan alumni ITS Surabaya yang tergabung dalam tim “LENTERA : The Youth Empowerment”.


















Senin, 2 Mei 2011 kegiatan akademik supercamp telah dimulai. Pada hari pertama bimbingan belajar tersebut, semua peserta baik dari bidang IPA dan bidang IPS mengikuti bimbingan dengan penuh semangat. Begitu juga dengan menjalani aktivitas harian yang sudah dirancang oleh panitia. Seperti kegiatan sholat berjamaah, sholat malam, peserta sangan enjoy menjalani itu semua.
Selama satu minggu pertama, kondisi peserta masih penuh semangat dalam menjalankan aktivitas guna menyiapkan diri untuk menjalani SNMPTN. Apalagi pada hari minggu, 8 Mei 2011, peserta kembali dibekali motivasi berupa kegiatan outbond dari tim LENTERA. Panitia sendiri menyiapakan agenda tryout untuk melihat perkembangan kemampuan siswa pada minggu pertama. Tryout yang dilakuakn adalah bentuk simulasi dari ujian SNMPTN. Baik urutan soal, waktu mengerjakan, dan penilaian, semua dikondisikan seperti halnya ujian SNMPTN.

Memasuki minggu kedua, peserta sudah bisa melihat hasil dari tryout minggu pada minggu pertama. Harapanya peserat bisa termotivasi lebih untuk semangat belajar. Ditambah lagi, panitia sengaja memberikan informasi secara tertulis mengenai profil beberpaa kampus lengkap dengan jurusannya. Semua itu dilakukan untuk memacu semangat belajar siswa.
Kegiatan pada minggu kedua supercamp selain aktivitas akademik adalah kegiatan psikotes bagi peserta. Panitia mendatangkan dosen psikologi dari kampus terkemuka di kota malang. Psikotes yang dilaksanakan bertujuan untuk bisa melihat karakter peserta supercamp, sehingga menjadi salah satu acuan untuk menentukan jurusan yang nantinya dipilih dalam ujian SNMPTN. Secara umum peserta mengikuti acara ini dengan penuh antusias.
